Retirement Announcement – Kate Hyland
As we enter our personal tax season, we wanted to share some news with you.
Since our practices merged 6 years ago, Kate Hyland has been an instrumental part of our HVGP team and has provided exceptional support and advice to our clients. This will be Kate’s 41st personal tax season, and she has communicated to us that she will be retiring on April 30th, 2021. As much as she will be missed, we are very happy for her to now take time for herself and enjoy extended weeks at the cottage with Jim.
We know that some of you have dealt primarily with Kate during this time and we look forward to continue building a relationship with you. Many of you have worked with Victoria Vandevalk in the past. We are happy to announce that Victoria has been promoted to the position of supervisor and will work with us during the transition to ensure that your personal taxes and year ends are handled well within filing requirements.
As we work through this tax season, please do not hesitate to reach out to talk to us or reach out to Kate and Victoria. We hope that this pandemic will soon be over and allow us an opportunity to congratulate Kate in person with many of you on her career.
