Ontario Business Registry Update – December 2021
On May 15, 2021, the Canada Revenue Agency stopped accepting corporations’ annual returns on behalf of the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (MGCS). Since the returns are no longer being submitted through the CRA with the corporate tax return, it means all affected corporate taxpayers will need to file their annual return directly through ServiceOntario’s Ontario Business Registry. A failure to file your annual return online with the Ministry may result in an involuntary dissolution.
